Woodworking projects commenced in 1925, marking the inception of a tradition in crafting furniture and wooden tools.The birth of the company dates back to 1905, and in 2025, it will celebrate a century of existence, symbolizing 100 years of tradition.Incorporating previous generations, the company boasts a continuity spanning 130 years, encompassing the crafting of houses and wooden tools.The pivotal tool, the lathe, was manufactured in 1938 and regularly utilized until 2022, passing on its role through generations.

Jelena’s work explores and re-examines the relationship between art and design. The most important

The main inspiration for the work comes from principles of art and design, inspired by geometry,

The aim of her work is to point out the importance of material in product design

When Lidija gives the chest to her niece, she trusts that it will be cherished and passed on to future generations, carrying with her the memories and values of her family. After successfully completing a Master’s program in Architecture and Urban Planning, Lidija has skillfully navigated her professional journey across diverse continents, including the USA, Europe, and Asia. Throughout her career, she has channeled her expertise into the realms of Art and Product Design, drawing significant inspiration from her surroundings in each of these vibrant regions.
